Wow, ya all. It is already October 13th and I have been MIA. I simply got caught up in some spider web and have not posted. What boo sheet is that? Ugh.
Anyway, for your listening pleasure, I though a little brain song in ASL would help.
BRAINS...
Uh, oh, I hear zombies. I will be better, I promise! ~Crypt Keeper, Michelle
Hey! Welcome to my crypt. This is where zombies and all sorts of creatures hang out and have fun. You never know who or what is going to show up here so, come back often.
I am 4 days late getting the crypt open for the 2023 season. Ugh! However, that only means twice the fun. Ey?
Ok, so it is Wednesday and I thought we should have a Wednesday dance party. Makes sense right?
Let's go!
The whole family gets in the groove. Check out Thing!

For the next few days I am presenting to you some facts that I have found around the blogsphere. I am going to start with (of course)...
ZOMBIES:
Zombies may have the trademark zombie limp because their bodies are affected by the same decomposition process as any normal corpse. Additionally, rigor mortis would cause serious tissue and muscle damage at the zombie’s each step. Since zombies do not regenerate or heal, any damage is permanent. Eventually, a zombies’ top speed would be reduced to a crawl and perhaps even slow to the point where it could not move. ~Source: www.factretriever.com/zombie-facts
Bonus : There is a law in Haiti that makes it a crime to turn someone into a zombie. Article 249 states that if someone drugs another person, buries him as though he were dead, and then digs the person up and brings him back to life, it is still considered murder. Wow, good to know!
I got such a kick out of the zombie dance yesterday that I went looking for more. It turns out I found a whole score of music! Listen to this. Can you feel the zombie movement?
So, this blog...
Well, this month, as the crypts are open here, I will be posting a multitude of things. All of the zombies will be here of course, along with other creatures that roam. This is the place they hang out and you should too. Have a look around my crypt. It is fun to be here.
Before I go for the night...this year we have an official t-shirt and other stuff to purchase if you want to. For details about that, click HERE
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
I used to associate with zombies. They really were not bad people, just misunderstood. After all, if you got a craving for something, wouldn't you want to eat?
I know, I know, they eat brains you say. Well, I was fortunate enough that they were pretty full when I was around them. I guess I got lucky!
Oh yeah, one time, I met the then governor of Colorado. He ended up running for President of the United States. Some say he was a zombie but I never believed them.
Keeping it spooky.

This one is truly different.
So, this blog...
Well, this month, as the crypts are open here, I will be posting a multitude of things. I thought at first I would post monster music exclusively, but now have decided against that mostly. However, I have been reading this fantastic book from this guy who goes by Captain October. His book, "Grave Yard Groove: outlines the first beginnings of Monster Music to the present. He lists a ton of music, some of which I will indeed share here. By the way, I will be reviewing that book on my reading blog and other books HERE
Other things you will see here this month is fun cartoons, memes, and plain ole Halloween fun. My friend, Scardy Cat aka Stephanie may drop by on occasion as she has the past couple of years. I can't be sure because this year she had another little monster of her own. If not, I will be sharing some of her costume artistry as well.
Hope you have fun!
